Tim Flach is an award-winning United-Kingodom based photographer. The renowned photographer has created a showcase of stunning animal photography that so intimate they reveal the intricate reactions of their models. And the emotions on show look strikingly familiar to human.
After receiving worldwide recognition for his portraits of dogs and horses in projects entitled Dogs Gods and Equus, Mr Flach, from London, turned his attention to more amazing creatures. His latest project, entitled More Than Human, consists of intimate studio portraits of various wild animals, monkeys, tigers, elephants, birds, bats, cute pandas and specially bred featherless chickens.
Tim Flach’s portrait book called “More than Human” that lasted seven years of research and work on taking these remarkable pictures of animals. Mr. Flach graduated from the famous St. Martins School of Art in London and he spent almost 20 years working taking photos for advertising.He has working career in Adidas, Cirque du Soleil, Jaguar and Sony. Recently he become known for his highly-stylized animal portraits. His masterpiece aims to capture the emotion animals evoke in humans. To make this possible, he brings his animal models into such close-up shots that the viewer begins to read the gestures and body language as we would a human being. His work has been widely recognized in the United Kingdom, United States and Far East and he has also lectured extensively around the world.
